Training for Outside Adventure – Q&A with Lizzie Carr

Lizzie was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. Until then she had played it fairly safe with life; working hard in a corporate job, spending her annual leave going on nice holidays and, on the odd weekend when she wasn’t glued to my emails, would squeeze in some time outside. She decided drastic measures were needed and so she quit my job to love every single day.  She wanted to feel connected to the world and pursue experiences that gave me a sense of purpose and meaning, pushing her mind and body in every possible sense. She’s been in remission for two years now – it has been scary, difficult and exhausting, but quitting her job was the best decision she ever made. Hear her story!
